TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The ViiFire Door is a standalone Fire Curtain safety system designed to be deployed in the event of a fire.The design caters for curtain loads between 7kg and 20kg.
The descent speed is fixed and can not be adjusted. Descent speed depends on curtain weight.
The system is designed as 'plug and play'. This means that all ancillary equipment is provided with a labelled plug that plugs into a corresponding labelled socket.
The system described here incorporates a self-contained battery back-up system.
This system comes with a mini control panel as standard. There are NO front panel controls on the control box, just the battery and control fuses.
Design Specification

- White RAL9010 ppc as standard - other colours, Zintec, stainless steel (brushed 316 catering grade) on request.

No limit switches: Motor uses IntelliStallT which tracks motor current and stops motor on sharp current rise leading to softer curtain stall condition.Curtain ignores slow current fluctuations.

Mini Remote Panel: Mine Remote Panel to be supplied with either a surface mount box OR a flush box (both to be of the kind used to house a 13A socket for correct depth).
Alarm Status LED. Reflects alarm status.
Green steady, alarm ok.
Green flashing, alarm active.
Mains Fail LED. Flashes when mains has failed.
Buzzer sounds during mains failure.
Low Battery LED. Flashes if battery voltage falls below 22.5V. Buzzer will sound.
Emergency retract: Two Standard Emergency Retract buttons supplied to be fitted on both sides of the opening. Can be replaced by customer with electronic or mechanical switches. Switches must be rated for 24V DC.
Coopers Fire Ltd to supply cable and connection from box to junction box (junction box to be supplied by customer). Further wiring to be undertaken by customer.
Switches are to be connected in parallel.
Special features: Automatically detects whether an ALARM or DETECTOR or BOTH are fitted on switch-on. If one or the other is missing then the missing one is ignored.
If BOTH are missing then the unit signals this and enters a lock-out condition. For this reason it is now important that the unit's keyswitch be in the AUTO position.
